Being Present

Generally, actions motivated by fear are oriented at preventing some future event from occurring and based on beliefs stemming from the past.  Meaning that fear-based actions are not due to living in the present, though the actions can certainly be useful a times.  On the other hand, love-based actions are motivated by the peace of the present moment and assume that the outcome of the actions will be just right.  I have been socialized to believe and react as if I do not control a given situation, it will not turn out well, a belief that causes me stress and is not accurate.
